This place is wonderful, the staff is great, the food is good and quick service, and the prices are so reasonable! A good friendly spot and a great place to sit and run into neighbors.

My go-to Mexican spot in the Castro. I’ve been coming here for months and have never had a bad time with the food or service. Good quality food and good taste. I think their customer service could be a little better, but they’re not unfriendly by any means.

I have been enjoying the food at La Tortilla for decades. Their burritos really ARE super! The staff are friendly and efficient. They always seem to be open when I have a craving for delicious Mexican food. SInce I live so close by I often get my order to go, but it's fun to sit at the window and watch the world go by on Castro Street.

Whilst in Castro I decided to change things up and came for some Tacos! The lady that served me and helped me choose my ingredients was friendly, and the food was delicious! I especially loved sitting outside outside the restaurant, taking in the atmosphere, listening to the Mexican music, and drinking a bottle of Coke imported from Mexico!

Possibly the largest taco I’ve seen in my life! Quality ingredients friendly staff this place is a don’t miss if you’re in the Castro! I’ll be back frequently and bring your appetite. Polo taco with black beans brown rice and avocado was 5+⭐

Me and my coworkers went on Memorial Day and we liked the place. The staff was nice! The two men working there were fast with our order and were friendly. I was really impressed that they had a whole menu board dedicated to vegetarian burritos. I tried their Sautéed Mushroom Burrito and I was pleasantly surprised it had good flavor and the prices are great considering how expensive some other Mexican restaurants can. I see a lot of people complaining about the small amount of chips they give but I highly doubt those same people eat what they think is an ideal amount of chips. You go for the actual food not the chips. They’d probably throw the excess in the trash anyway. Overall, the food was great, the staff was nice and the atmosphere was cute and cozy. Give this place another chance if you haven’t gone in a while.

Absolutely amazing Mexican food! I come from Texas where there's never a shortage of delicious and authentic hispanic food, so I was expecting to be underwhelmed in San Francisco. However, La Tortilla exceeded my expectations! Very pleased with the food! There is also a bathroom in-store, but it's for customers only.

This is my favorite spot in SF. Always and always be my go to place to eat. I didn’t give 5 stars coz I already have the Taste of authentic Mexican food in Mexico so it can’t match But love love this place
